Your key, your provider
OpenAI, Mistral, DeepSeek, Groq, xAI, local models via Ollama or LM Studio, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Your API key stays in your OS keychain and your provider bills you directly.

Built-in skills produce real Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files, previewed in the app. Connectors plug into GitHub, Slack, Notion, Linear and more, and the agent can search and read the web.

In managed mode, OpenDesktop meters every request in dollars and writes it to an activity log: who, when, which model, what it cost. Metadata only, never the content.
Budgets are enforced before a request goes out, not on the invoice. When the day's budget is spent, the agent stops.
